About press-center
One of the main tasks of any department of press-center, including that of Ministry of Information Development, is the creation of positive image of its organization. Too often it is built on the ability to establish mutual relations of press-secretaries and press-services personnel with the representatives of mass media, journalists. Effectiveness of these relations and the quality of press-services activity would portray the image of organization.
The work of press-center is unique in its own way. As a rule, it is a scanty structure, acting as a buffer or a breakwater able to adjust elements force of the world around. As a rule journalists make up the foreground staff of such a structure. However journalists should be able to evaluate the situation from different angles, see the world from various sides, and perceive it in this diversity.
Press-secretaries and press-service personnel were always spoken and will be spoken wherever similar service be created that "they are the ones among the aliens and aliens among the ones", which is the profession costs. However, without them nowadays business, political, cultural life of ministry or department would not be that amazing.
What are the key obligations of a MID press-secretary or press-service collaborator? He should always be correct. He should present the whole information to mass media concerning all the changes and innovations related to Ministry of Information Development activity. He should give data concerning labor results of the Ministry subdivisions. He should inform the population by means of mass media in order to give practical assistance to the citizens, wishing to be documented, or register transport, open an enterprise, legalize acts on civil status. Besides, they should assure professional and methodological help to all territorial subdivisions of the Ministry, which in their turn should inform the population from the territory. A very important unit of press-service activity is the organization and leading interviews, information meetings, press-conferences, round-tables on separate directions of activity with the participation of mass media. It helps to strengthen creative and professional relations and elaborate new directions of joint activity of Ministry of Information Development and mass media. An indispensable part of every-day work is the formation of archive of all the speeches of press-center and main subdivisions of Ministry personnel also render assistance to Ministry personnel in preparing speeches for the press, television, radio, concerning up-to-date problems. Press-center has to update MID web-portal, prepare news summary, and lead photo and video archive that already counts about 8 thousand of photos and approximately 100 of video materials.

Angela Chicu the Head of press-centre

She graduated from Creanga State Pedagogical Institute, faculty of philology and faculty of international relations of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Moldova. She worked in the following publishing houses: “Lumina”, Stiinta” also in editorial staff of the newspapers “Faclia”, “Golos Naroda”,”Sfatul Tarii”, “Moldova Suverana”, “a”mic”. Since 1993 till 2005 she operated as the head of the Ministry of Transport and Communications press-centre. Since 2005 she is the Head of press-centre of the Ministry of Information Development of the Republic of Moldova.

Senior inspector (photographer) Ulian Velijenkov

He graduated from Karpenko-Karov Theater Institute in Kiev, producer courses in State Institute of Cinematography (ВГИК). He worked as a producer in "Gosteleradio" USSR, "Moldovafilm", editor-in -chief of "Foto Moldpres". Since 2002 he has been working in the Ministry of Information Development. He leads photo and video archive, participates in the projects promoting and popularizing MID activity.

Editor of press-centre Leontina Lenta

Leontina Lenta was born in May 29, 1984. In 2006 she graduated from Moldova Academy of Economic Studies, Faculty of International Economic Relations, specialty International Economic Relations, and francophone network. Presently, she is a student of Moldova State University, Law Faculty.

Since 2004 she works as the inspector of Foreign Relations Directorate, State Enterprise “Registru”
Skills: speaks Romanian, Russian, French and Italian languages.
